The
Furat 350 is s slightly larger mobile R.O. unit also designed
to be towed by any 4x4 vehicle. The Furat 350's mechanical
power supply also comes from a diesel engine & the electric
supply is generated from within the unit. This allows the
Furat 350 to be deployed & operated in remote areas & without
the need for an external power supply. The power source can
also be replaced with an electric motor or gasoline engine
instead. Water is delivered to the unit by a floating pump
to start the process with a set of cartridge filters. The
water then passes through an ultraviolet sterilizer and into
the R.O. module, finally arriving to the Activated carbon
cartridge to finalize the process. A holding tank installed
within the unit stores the product water and delivers it to
a filling station positioned next to the unit. The Furat 350
requires some training to operate and maintain, as it is more
advanced. In the field it also purifies water within minutes
of reaching the desired location. It is usually supplied to
operate as a brackish water unit. The trailer can easily travel
at speeds of up to 140 km/hr in an emergency and up to 30km/hr
in rough terrain.
